Zephyr
Engineering expands compactPCI Active Extender
Board family with the 66 MHz capable
ZPCI.2466
Tempe - Zephyr Engineering, Inc., leading
designer of compactPCI (CPCI) boards and test equipment, announced today a
new compactPCI active extender board that extends the frequency of
operation of their best-selling product, the ZPCI.2400.
The new ZPCI.2466 Active Extender
Board operates at 66 MHz instead of 33 MHz, providing the
engineer with the best way to test 66 MHz CPCI boards while maintaining
compliance with PICMG 2.0 R3.0 specifications.
"Adherence to
stub length specifications is critical for 66 MHz operation," said Zephyr
president Scott Cowling. "The
ZPCI.2466 eliminates the guesswork. When
an engineer is debugging a board, the last thing they need is a problem
with their test setup."
The ZPCI.2466
offers all the features of the ZPCI.2400 compactPCI Active Extender Board. These include:
-
On-board
PMC slot for PCI bus analyzer or PMC board debug.
-
Transparent
pci bridge.
-
A rigid
frame that mates and locks with injectors on test board.
-
Clearly
marked test points to show all CPCI bus signal names.
-
Every
pin is isolatable and can be opened by removal of a 0-ohm shunt.
-
Short
circuit protection for +3.3v, +5v, +12v and -12v supplies.
-
Individual
indicator LEDs show board power status at a glance.
-
Available
in 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
Faster
performance and quality features are combined to make the ZPCI.2466 Active
Extender Board the top choice of engineers specializing in compactPCI
design.
